Thanksgiving, Tiny Steps, and Big Discoveries
Every month with you feels like an adventure, but this one was particularly heartwarming. Watching you grow and blossom into your own little personality is such a joy, and this month was no exception. From family-filled holidays to those tiny but oh-so-precious milestones, you continue to amaze us every day.
Growing Up So Fast đ
One of the sweetest new things youâve started doing is telling us when youâre ready for "night night." When we see you start rubbing your eyes, Mama and I will ask you if you are ready for night night. Sometimes you agree, and sometimes you say noâespecially when youâre not quite done playing with your Lala (baby). Itâs so adorable how youâre beginning to understand us and respond with a little âyesâ or âno.â Watching you grow and communicate this way fills our hearts with so much joy.
âPapa Poo Pooâ đ˝
Another big milestone this month: youâve started to tell us when you âpoo poo.â Sometimes youâll announce it with a giggle, saying, âPapa poo poo!â Itâs the cutest thing, even when we donât quite make it to the bathroom on time. Occasionally, you turn it into a little game, running off and laughing as we chase after you. Itâs moments like these that remind me to embrace the chaos and celebrate the progress, even when itâs messy!
Running Into the Future đââď¸â¨
Mila, you are officially trying to run now! I remember thinking youâd never start walking, and now here you are, zooming around with all the energy in the world. You stumble sometimes, but that doesnât stop youâyouâre determined to go faster, to explore more, to chase after life with those tiny legs of yours. Watching you run is like seeing your spirit in action: bold, curious, and unafraid.
Little Hands, Big Interests đ
Youâve become so curious about everything lately, and I canât get enough of it. Whether itâs playing in the sand, helping Mama cook, or feeding the animals, you throw yourself into every new experience with so much enthusiasm. You even help throw away your diaper now, a tiny act that feels like a big leap toward growing up.
Thanksgiving in Houston đŚđ
We ended the month with a trip to Houston to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was a special time filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family. You were the center of attention, of courseâyour cousins and relatives couldnât get enough of you! Seeing you run around, giggling and exploring, reminded us how much joy you bring to everyone you meet. Itâs moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to have such a sweet little light in our lives.
Clean Hands, Full Heart đ§źđď¸â¤ď¸
One of my favorite things is your meticulous little habit of wanting clean hands. Every time you eat, you stop to hold up your sticky fingers, demanding they be wiped clean before you take another bite. Itâs adorable and oh-so-you. I have to admit, you get that from meâI donât like dirty hands either! Itâs these quirks that make you uniquely you, and I wouldnât change a thing.
Mila, as you grow, I find myself marveling at the incredible little person youâre becoming. Each month, you teach us so much about love, patience, and the joy of discovery. Keep running, exploring, and being your wonderful self. Weâll always be here to guide you, cheer you on, and celebrate every step of the way. We love you more than words can say. â¤ď¸
With all the love in the world,
Your Papa
