It's funny how history and this world work because when I was born, your meme (pawpaw's mom) was also having open heart surgery. This is a tradition that I am not fond of, but it reminds me of the strength and resilience that runs in our family.

From the moment you entered this world, you have painted my life with colors I never knew existed. Your laughter is the most beautiful melody, and your smile brightens even the darkest days. Watching you grow and discover the world has been a privilege beyond words. Your tiny fingers that once clung to mine with such trust are now reaching out to explore everything around you with curiosity and wonder.

Seeing bits of myself and your mom in you fills me with awe and pride. You are our most precious gift, and every little milestone you've reached has been a cause for celebration.
