My Precious Mila,

Today you turned 3 months old.
  9 lbs 8 oz
  22 inches

You turned three months old today, and what a journey these first 90 days have been. Every day with you has felt like a blessing, a unique snapshot of a life rapidly unfolding. It's fascinating to see how much has changed just in this third month.

This month we registered you for daycare, and even though you won't set foot there until June 2024 due to the waiting list, I already feel a mix of excitement and nervousness for you. I can't help but imagine the friendships you'll form and the things you'll learn, even as I come to terms with the idea that you'll be exploring a world where I won't always be by your side.

You've also become quite the explorer, especially when it comes to your own tiny hands. You've found comfort and amusement in sucking your fingers. I have to say, it's endearing how you manage to break free from your swaddle every night just so you can continue this little ritual. It's a simple act, yet it fills me with wonder about what goes on in that busy mind of yours.

You haven't started laughing yet, but your smiles have become a daily joy. It's like you're right on the cusp of a giggle, and I find myself eagerly awaiting that delightful sound. Each expression you make adds another layer of anticipation for all the milestones yet to come.

We still have our morning routine which is still one of my favorite parts of the day. After you're fed, we step outside to watch the sunrise together. Holding you in my arms as we witness the dawn feels like a moment suspended in time. The sleepless nights and endless diaper changes somehow become a distant thought during those quiet minutes.

To help you grow stronger, we've been doing tummy time before every feeding. Your neck control has improved so much, and I've found that you enjoy our little "Superwoman flights" around the house. You look so delighted when we play this game; it's as if you already understand the fun that life has in store for you.

In these first three months, you've transitioned from a fragile newborn into a tiny person with your own likes and dislikes, making each day a new chapter in a story that's yours but also very much ours. You won't remember these days, but I'm documenting them so that one day you'll read this and know how profoundly you've touched my life, even in the simplest of ways.

With all the love in the world,

Your Papa
