Another month has flown by, and you're now ten months old. This month was filled with new experiences and achievements that left your mom and I bursting with pride and joy.

Your first major adventure was earning your wings on your first flight to Beaver Creek, Colorado. You did not even noticed what was happening as you just laid on my chest and fell asleep majority of the way. Despite being so at ease, both takeoffs came with their own unique surprises, leaving your mom and me to navigate the cramped airplane bathroom under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Beaver Creek has been the backdrop to many wonderful memories for me, and I hope that it will become a place of joy and adventure for you too.

This month also saw you taking a brave step – getting your ears pierced. You were such a big girl, barely shedding a tear. Your courage and resilience never cease to amaze us, and now you shine even brighter with your new adornment.

With the arrival of warmer weather, our daily ritual has evolved into hammocking together after school. The peaceful sway of the hammock under the open sky became our little slice of paradise, a perfect way to unwind and bond with you. It echoes the quiet mornings we spent on the front porch during winter, observing the neighborhood awaken, watching children board their buses, and greeting passing neighbors.

You've also learned to clap your hands, a skill you now show off at every opportunity. Your delight in this new way to express your excitement is contagious, and we find ourselves clapping along with you, celebrating every little thing as if it's the best thing that's happened.

And then there are the new faces you've started making, like scrunching your nose, which turn everyday moments into scenes of pure joy. Each new expression you discover and share with us adds depth to your blossoming personality, making us eager to meet every new side of you.

Mila, watching you grow and explore the world with such eagerness and joy is the greatest gift. Each new skill you acquire, every new experience you embrace, fills our hearts with love and pride. Here's to many more adventures and milestones in the months to come.
